Mike Handelman is an award winning actor, musician, writer comedian

and producer.

He is currently based in New York City.

An alumni of Harvard University, he is a trained actor with over ten years of professional experience ranging from film and TV, classical and fringe theater, as well as years spent in improv and stand up comedy. He combines comedy experience and classical training with a sense of rhythm and timing honed as musician playing in the Tri State Area, Boston, Mississippi and Madrid. He is also a skilled host and Emcee.

Acting: Mike has appeared in comedic supporting roles in Friends From College alongside Keegan Michael Key, the feature films The Forger with Christoper Plummer and John Travolta, and Crooked Arrows starring Brandon Routh. Some of his favorite theater credits include an award winning production of Uncle Vanya, as well as critically acclaimed performances in She Kills Monsters and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Producing: He is the executive producer, co-creator and co-star of the award winning web series Mystery Mansion, and co-created and starred in the award winning satirical play with music, Emerson at Big Mart, produced for the Planet Connections Theater Festivity and at PIT Loft.

Music: He gigs regularly all over the five boroughs, Long Island and New Jersey playing guitar and bass guitar with a specialization in rock, blues, funk and RnB. As a guitarist, he’s recorded albums with the artist Jennifer Elster and the rock band We Eat Monsters, soon to be released.
